"In 2006, the United Nations Human Rights Commission noted its concern that while African Americans constitute just 12% of the population, they represent 50% of homeless people ... Myriad reports and studies that have been done all come up with the same basic conclusion: In order to resolve deep and persisting racial disparities in this country, a public policy initiative is urgently needed."

Thoughts On June 3rd

On June 3rd, the day of Barack Obama's historic, honorably-achieved,
miraculous victory, a day of national and worldwide celebration for
the progress we've all made, Paul Begala wrote an article*. In this
article, Mr. Begala made a comparison to the story of Jackie Robinson
(the first African-American to break the color line in baseball around
50 years ago). Oddly and sadly, the person he was comparing Mr.
Robinson to in this column was not Barack Obama, but Hillary Clinton.
Seriously.

This was yet another perfect example of a die-hard Clinton supporter
just completely missing the point, mangling the moment, being in a
hole and using a shovel when they need a rope. It's hard to overstate

Giuliani: Worse Than Bush

Problematic GiulianiProblematic Giuliani

He's cashing in on 9/11, working with Karl Rove's henchmen and in cahoots with a Swift Boat-style attack on Hillary. Will Rudy Giuliani be Bush III?
